Good day, respected officials of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, I Wyna Mae Mapusao and my thesis partner, Harry Lumauag, both 5th year architecture students from Lyceum of the Philippines University - Cavite. We are currently conducting our undergraduate thesis entitled "A Proposed Coral Reefs Research and Restoration Center in the Verde Island Passage". In line with this, we would like to respectfully request access to documents and data relevant to our study, which will be used solely for academic and research purposes. The information we are seeking includes, but not limited to the following: 1. Corals and Coral reefs Inventory -Lists of Corals and Coral reefs location present in the VIP - Lists of Corals and Coral reefs types present in the VIP - Status of Coral Cover in VIP - Data for Coral reef conditions - Lists and data of Coral species present in the VIP 2. For Zoning - List of Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) in the VIP - MPAs zoning maps and boundaries - Verde Island Passage Framework Plan - Fisheries & Coastal Resourse Management Plan - Reef Assesment Reports - Water Quality reports on the VIP - Lists and data of factors affecting corals and coral reefs (e.g., type of pollution, climate change, etc.) We assure you that the requested data will be used strictly for academic puposes in the completion of our thesis.
