Requested from NAMRIA by J. Tumang at 12:51 PM on
Jan. 15, 2025.
Purpose: To Properly Convey the Exact Number of Islands in the PHL
Tracking no: #DENRNAMRIA-537455948788
The Gov.PH's "About the Philippines"-page gives the updated low-tide island-count of the PHL ("7,641" as opposed to the "7,107" I was taught as a kid in class). https://www.gov.ph/the-philippines-3 But EXACTLY how many in HIGH-tide? I remember we were taught it was over 2k, but searches on the Internet only give the (old or new) low-tide numbers… or the "2,000" high-tide estimation. No one in the Internet seems to give the exact number anymore. (If they do give the number, they seem drowned by the generalists.) Can I have the exact high-tide count, please? Thanks
