Below are the responses from the DOH Health Facility Development Bureau (HFDB) on your requests:
1. Minimum bed capacity for Level 2 Hospital - There is no explicitly stated number of minimum beds for a Level 2 Hospital; however, it is recommended to have at least 100 beds to effectively optimize the necessary investments to reach the requirements for this level of service capability.
2. DOH Manuals for Level 2 Hospital Care - "Revised Organizational Structure and Staffing Standards for Government Hospitals CY 2013 edition" is a manual that contains relevant information regarding hospital care and the hospital organization.
