The Philippine Health Facility Development Plan 2020-2040 (https://bit.ly/PHFDP2020_2040), as well as the Department Order No. 2021-0001 and its amendment, for the list of DOH Hospitals in Luzon designated as Specialty Centers for Brain and Spine across regions. These centers are expected to have research capabilities.
Moreover, the HFDB provides the following issuances in the development and functionality of specialty centers in the country - Department Circular No. 2025-0373 (http://bit.ly/dc2025-0373) titled "Status of Functionality of Specialty Centers in Designated DOH Hospitals" - Department Circular No. 2025-0374 (http://bit.ly/dc2025-0374) titled "List of Level 3 Hospitals with Specialty Capability", which provide the list of hospitals with Brain and Spine Specialty Centers For guidance on the planning and design of Brain and Spine Specialty Centers, please refer to the Resource Stratified Framework for Brain and Spine Care, annexed to DO No. 2021-0001 and its amendment.
