We respectfully request access to the complete and most recent disaggregated datasets pertaining to children enrolled in DSWD-accredited or supervised Day Care Centers/Child Development Centers (CDCs), for either the entire Philippines or, at minimum, for the Davao Region (Region XI).
Specifically, we are seeking the following Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) data for these children:
1. Child Demographics:
Number of children enrolled (disaggregated by age, sex, and year/program cycle).
Location of Day Care Centers/CDCs (Region, Province, City/Municipality, Barangay).
2. Nutritional Status:
Weight-for-Age (WFA) status (e.g., underweight, normal, overweight).
Height-for-Age (HFA) status (e.g., stunted, normal, tall).
Weight-for-Height (WFH) status (e.g., wasted, normal, obese).
Body Mass Index (BMI)-for-Age status (if available).
Date of assessment for nutritional status.
3. ECCD Developmental Status/Assessment Data:
Results from any standardized ECCD checklist or developmental assessment tools used (e.g., Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Checklist, Kindergarten Readiness Assessment, or similar tools).
4. Enrollment and Program Participation Details:
Date of enrollment/start date in Day Care Center/CDC.
Program participation duration.
We understand that this type of granular information, particularly for nutritional and developmental status, would be integral to the DSWD's Early Childhood Care and Development Information System (ECCD-IS). While we anticipated this information might be accessible via the DSWD Policy Development and Planning Bureau (PDPB) subdomain, specifically https://pdpb.dswd.gov.ph/?s=ECCD, this website has been consistently experiencing a 'critical error' for an extended period, rendering the vital data inaccessible to the public.
