- Access to public transportation;
- Adequate safety features;
- Availability of basic utilities such as water, electricity, and waste management;
- Lot of terrain (should be relatively flat and accessible for individuals with mobility impairments);
- Proximity with at least community facilities that need basic needs such as schools, churches, and health care facilities;
- Proximity to natural surroundings;
- Quiet and peaceful surroundings; and
- Zoning regulations.
