Please be advised that business registration falls under the jurisdiction of the Business Permits and Licensing Office of the Local Government Unit (LGU) where the business is located. Hence, you may direct your inquiries/requests about such matters to the concerned LGU.
The DTI only handles business name (BN) registration, which is a prerequisite for business registration. Please note that a BN Registration does not constitute a license to operate any kind of business, nor does it guarantee the legitimacy of the business.
However, if you wish to request for a list of BNs registered with the DTI, we can provide the following information in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012:
a. Registered BN (e.g., ABC FOOD CART)
b. BN Owner’s Name (e.g., Juan Dela Cruz)
c. Registration Date (e.g., Jan. 01, 2020)
d. Territorial Scope (e.g., REGIONAL)
e. Business Address/Territory (based on the Territorial Scope)
We would also like to inform you that we can only provide data of BNs registered within the past five years, as a business name's validity period is five years from its registration date. You may also provide keywords (for example, “WATER REFILLING STATION”) or specify the industry classification. This information will be used to filter the list and generate a BN listing that is tailored to your specific request.
Please also note that the DTI only registers business names for sole proprietorships. One-person corporations, partnerships, and corporations are registered with the Securities and Exchange Commissions.
Lastly, please take note of the prescribed fees for BN listing per Department Administrative Order 18-07, Annex E, Schedule of Fees, Section C:

Succeeding page(s) - Php 3.00 per page
