Purpose: Our team is conducting a research study on vehicle registration and ownership trends in the Philippines. The purpose is to better understand mobility patterns, growth of motorcycle usage and their implications on transportation planning, road safety and access to mobility.

We are kindly requesting the following information from the Land Transportation Office: 1. Annual vehicle registration statistics from 2000 to 2024 (as available) segmented by vehicle classification; with emphasis on motorcycles, tricycles and non-conventional motorcycles, registration type (e.g., new versus renewal) and region (e.g., NCR, Region I etc.) a. if possible, please provide additional segmentation by motor vehicle brand 2. Number of cases of transfers of ownership for motor vehicles from 2000 to 2024 (as available) a. if possible, please provide additional segmentation by motor vehicle type i.e. Cars, SUVs, Trucks, Motorcycles (with side car, without side car, non-conventional) b. If possible, please provide additional segmentation by motor vehicle brand
