Good day. I am a Filipino academic. I did my PhD at the University of Oxford, UK and I was formerly a lecturer at the Ateneo de Manila University. I am seeking information from your office about how your information systems are hosted. By information systems, I am referring to your institution’s website and internal systems. Your IT department may be in the best position to assist with this FOI request. For each information system that you have (as many as you are able to list, and at the very least, your main website) I would like to know the following details: 1. Is the system hosted on-premises, by a commercial hosting provider (e.g., a cloud provider such as Amazon Web Services, Azure or Alibaba Cloud), a combination of the two, or via some other arrangement? 2. If a commercial hosting provider is involved, please supply the name of the provider(s). 3. Since when have the current hosting arrangements been in place? I am part of an international research effort to understand cloud infrastructure and your answers will provide useful insights to society. Kindly provide the above information by July 24, 2025, or in 15 working days as required by Executive Order No. 2, s. 2016. I look forward to your favourable response to my request. Please note that although I am currently based abroad, I listed my Philippine residential address in the form, as it requires a Philippine municipality, region, and other local details regardless of the selected country.
