Q1. The Philippine Institute of Traditional and Alternative Health Care (PITAHC) relies on the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) for hosting its official website, PITAHC.GOV.PH, and other public-facing digital systems. Our firm commitment to the .gov.ph domain ensures our online presence is officially recognized, trustworthy, and exclusively operates within this government-mandated designation. This service is provided through the DICT's Government Web Hosting Service (GWHS)
Q2. PITAHC does not directly contract with commercial hosting providers for the services we obtain through the DICT's GWHS. The commercial Cloud Service Providers involved are those with existing agreements with the DICT that support its broader GovCloud and shared government services. Details of these specific DICT-contracted providers are part of the DICT's overall infrastructure management and procurement, and are not directly managed or publicly disclosed by individual agencies like PITAHC.
Q3. Government agency hosting in the Philippines primarily follows the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT)'s "Cloud-First Policy."
In line with this national policy and our ongoing digital modernization efforts, PITAHC has gradually implemented various systems. The initiation dates for these specific domains and systems, as requested from the DICT, are as follows:
