Hi, I was diagnosed with Bipolar 2 Disorder last November 2024 and have been regularly attending to my Psychiatrist at PGH. I already have a valid PWD ID stating that I have a Psychosocial Disability. I tried filing for a Disability Claim at SSS but it was denied since it is asking me for a complete evaluation (I forgot the exact name of the document) and is asking me to fill out/file for SSS Sickness Benefit first. My concern is, how am I going to file for a SSS Sickness Benefit for Bipolar 2 Disorder if I was not confined in the hospital nor had house confinement? Or, as someone with Bipolar 2 Disorder, how could I go about filing for SSS Disability Claim regarding my Bipolar 2 Disorder? Thank you very much!
