Response to Request

Dear Mr. Clemente,

Please be advise that Great domestic Insurance Company is under liquidation. The appointed Liquidator, Atty. Melanio Elvis M. Balayan with office address at 2015 City Land, 10 Tower Q, H.V. dela Costa St., Salcedo Village, Makati City and contact no. 638-7618, i s in the process of preparing the Liquidation Plan of the company. Payment of claims shall be in accordance with the approved Liquidation and Distribution Plan.

Also, your request is forwarded to Atty. Balayan for his appropriate action. 

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Ms. Lorna D. De Leon, Division Manager, Administrative Division, Insurance Commission, 1071 United Nations Avenue, Manila. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
