Good day! 

I am Jillian Pastana, a student from Philippine Science High School - Western Visayas Campus
 We would like to request for a list of the permissible heavy metal (specifically Lead) levels in sediments in the Philippines. We will be using this data for our research study to compare our analyze sample concentration levels with both the international standards and Philippine permissible levels.

You asked for Request for Permissible Heavy Metal Levels in Sediments in the Philippines.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office will have to deny your request due to the invalid Identification Card presented or submitted as proof of your identity (back portion of your Identification Card). However, you may resubmit your request on the eFOI portal with attached valid Government Issued ID or School ID.

Please be informed that the mandate of this Office pertains to geohazards (rain-induced landslide and flood hazards) and geologic data.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Atty. Danilo U. Uykieng, OIC, Director at central@mgb.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
