March 27, 2023 Dear Jillian, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Mar 24, 2023 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for Request for Permissible Heavy Metal Levels in Sediments in the Philippines. Response to your request While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office will have to deny your request due to the invalid Identification Card presented or submitted as proof of your identity (back portion of your Identification Card). However, you may resubmit your request on the eFOI portal with attached valid Government Issued ID or School ID. Please be informed that the mandate of this Office pertains to geohazards (rain-induced landslide and flood hazards) and geologic data. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Atty. Danilo U. Uykieng, OIC, Director at central@mgb.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.
