Hi! I'm 26 years old CPA.

I would like to be part of the Bureau as NBI Agent. However, since I am currently employed as a Financial Analyst here in Saudi Arabia, I would like to know the following:
1. What might be the hiring process?
2. Can I apply without going to the Philippines?
3. What are the applicable requirements for OFW?

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Jun 21, 2022 03:32:00 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for OFW Applicant for NBI Agent. Below are the qualifications and procedure for application for your reference:

Qualifications of an NBI Agent:
1. Must Be a Filipino citizen, of good moral character and in excellent physical and mental conditions
2. A member of the Philippine bar, or holder of baccalaureate degree who passed the necessary government licensure examination relevant to the investigative functions of the NBI (Note: Completion of at least 2nd year in Bachelor of Laws or at least two (2) years’ experience in the field of Information Technology (I.T.) shall be an advantage.)
3.  At least 5’5” (male) or 5’3” (female)
4.  At least 25 years old but not more than 35.
5. Must have normal (20/20) eye sight. 
Basic Requirements
- Diploma
- Transcript of Records
- Eligibility (Bar/Board)
- Birth Certificate
- Marriage Certificate (if applicable)
- Personal Data Sheet (CS Form 212)
- 2 pcs. 2x2 Pictures (Note: In Formal Attire/White Background)
- NBI Clearance
- Affidavit of non-pendancy of case
- ITR/W2 – if working
- SALN – if government employee
To initially process your application, you can apply online by sending clear scanned copy of the following documents to academy@nbi.gov.ph:
- Application Letter
- Personal Data Sheet (PDS form)
- 2x2 picture
If you have all the qualifications and none of the disqualifications, we shall inform you of the date and time of initial interview and aptitude test.  Our staff will never ask you anymore about your personal data.
