Hi. I would like to seek help for my problem regarding online loan that I have debt.. I know my fault that I did not pay the amount on the due date.. I know it's my fault but I don't understand that even my contacts friends, Co workers, family, fb friends are involved here.. They are not involve here but the agent and other members of the apps always sending them a message that does not appropriate... Ang also ne they are harassing me they even mura and give death threat to me... They also use my face on the Facebook to post me and embarrass me to the other people.... Please I need help..

Your Request

You seek for help due to harassment of an Online Lending App. We understand that this online lending app accessed and used your mobile phonebook without your consent.

Response to Request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance your inquiry is not a valid FOI request. Complaints and request for clarification on data privacy or data protection should be responded through email-reply.
Nonetheless, to assist you with your concern, we have forwarded your inquiry, name, and email address to our Complaints and Investigation Division (complaints@privacy.gov.ph) for drafting of response. 

You may expect our written response within 3-7 working days. However, if the concerned office  determined that this may be a subject of an advisory opinion,  the same will be released to you not later than twenty (20) working days, unless the complexity and novelty of the subject matter requires a longer period of time for further evaluation.
