My name is Mariah Kei S. Legaspi, a bona fide 5th year BS Architecture student from Far Eastern University-Manila.

I would like to request the standard facilities and departments/divisions in a City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office and if possible, sample organizational structure and office floor plan. This is to know the different facilities in a DRRMO.

Your Request

You asked for the Standard Facilities and Divisions in a Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. Kindly see attached Joint Memorandum Circular No.  2014-1 re Implementing Guidelines for the Establishment of LDRRMOs or BDRRMCs in LGUs.

Per request on building floor plan, we can only provide the list of rooms inside the NDRRMC building; 
1st floor
Lobby - for visitors
Office space - for Operations Service Personnel.
Meeting Room - designated for use of OCD personnel. 
Media Room - for media/press briefing and meetings.

2nd floor
Situation Room - for monitoring and where the latest information on the situation is channeled, consolidated and reported (equipped with Video Wall, Computers and Printers).  
Office of ICT Division - support for situation room and operations. 
Communications Room - houses telefax machines and other communication equipment.
Office Space - for operations service personnel.
Pantry - the only part of the 2nd floor where food and beverages are allowed.  
Quarters - for use of off-duty personnel after rendering 12-24 hour duty. 

3rd floor
> Lounge area - for visitors
> Main Conference Room - for big meetings; OCD personnel and other NDRRMC member agencies (see thru Video-Wall from Situation Room for presentation / situation briefing). 
> Small Meeting Room - for meetings; OCD personnel and other NDRRMC member agencies.

Your right to request a review
