Hi I would like to request for a copy of my BIR 2316 from Marh 2019 to December 2021. My employer did not give me a copy and have not receive any tax refund since then.  I would also like to verify the tax witheld computation coz as far as I know Im not minimum wage earner and actual taxes witheld are not correct based on the data provided.  My details as follow:

Dear Ms. De Luna,

I refer to my letter of Apr 12, 2022 07:47:54 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for BIR Form 2316.

In order for us to properly endorse and work further on your request, kindly provide us the TIN, RDO and complete name and address of your employer (2019-2020)

On the other hand, it is also advised that you better ask for a copy of your 2316 directly from your employer especially for the year 2021 for this is supposed to be issued last January 31 and since they are the main source of such documents. It is also mandated by law that every employer shall issue BIR Form No. 2316 to every employee before the close of such calendar year, or if employment is terminated, on the day on which the last payment of compensation is made.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Jul 06, 2022 03:21:59 AM, your request will be closed.
