Emille Martin 01:59 PM, Dec 05, 2018

Good day, I would like to request for the monthly (or quarterly) data for total outstanding public debt for both domestic and foreign from 1970 to present as the available data on the DOF's website only goes back as far as 2013. Thank you.

Please note in my initial request, the the BTr referred me to the DOF regarding the data (Tracking no: #BTr-789476505641).

However, the DOF referred me back to the BTr (Tracking no: #DOF-914608644067) regarding my request for the public sector debt from 1970 to present.

Dear Emille Martin Munsayac,

I refer to my letter of Dec 05, 2018 01:59:04 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Monthly / Quarterly Public Sector Debt from 1976 to 2018.

We apologize if your request has been passed to the DOF and back. As it is, the Bureau of the Treasury mainly collects National Government (NG) Debt data. On the otherhand, Public Sector data covers NG, Social Security Institutions, LGU, GOCC and Government Financial Institution debt which the Treasury does not gather.

For further clarification, you may contact the office of the Director of the Research Service at 663 2287 loc 2801 to discuss the nature of your query.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Mar 22, 2019 10:15:24 AM, your request will be closed.

We hope to hear from you at the soonest possible time.

Thank you.

Respectfully,
