3) Projected Supply and Demand of Nurses
4) Current Nurse to Patient/Bed Staffing Ratio in the Philippines
5) Current Ratio of Nurse per population
6) Nursing graduates per year from 2008 up to 2016

Your Request
You asked for Nurse Statistics in the Philippines as of 2018 (or latest).
Response to Request
Your FOI request is approved. Please find attached file for reference on the data for item no. (4) Current nurse to patient/ bed staffing ratio and item no. (5) current ratio of nurse per population. Please take note that we were only able to provide the data for 2016-2017.
As per your request for data on item no. (1) Number of hospitals in the Philippines, may we refer you to our National Health Facility Registry at (https://nhfr.doh.gov.ph) for reference on your query.
Also, please visit our National Database of Selected Human Resource for Health at (http://www.ndhrhis.com) for your request on item no. (2) current nursing workforce in the Philippines. Once you are in the website, kindly click the statistical report tab in the upper right side of the home page for reference in your query.
Lastly, may we inform you that this Office, as of the moment does not keep data on item no. (5) projected supply and demand of nurses and item no. (6) nursing graduate per year from 2008 up to 2016, although for item no. (6), you may try to inquire with the Commission on Higher Education for assistance.
