Hi! Happy new year, I would like to request for information regarding to:
1. Number of deaths due to excessive tobacco use (lung cancer etc.). From 2008-2017 
2. Deaths related to alcohol from 2008-2017
3. If possible per region

You asked for Deaths due to excessive use of tobacco and alcohol related deaths.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have  the information you have requested. Please also be informed that not all deaths of lung cancer and other related diseases are attributed to these risk factors, but may consider the correlation of other factors and diseases. (See attached Memorandum from the DOH Disease Prevention and Control Bureau regarding your request). However, you may wish to contact DOH Disease Prevention and Control Bureau office at (02) 651-7800 local 1750-1752 for more information.
