Good day!

I would like to request for information regarding: 

a)   The number of women diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) in the Philippines from January 2019 - April 2022 (whichever is available)

b)   Prevalence of PCOS in the Philippines

c)   Percentage of women with PCOS from ages 20-35 or the closest available age range you have

d)   Age Range of women with PCOS

e)   PCOS Cases in the Philippines

f)    Any government activities regarding PCOS

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested. We regret to inform you that the DOH does not collect data on the cases of  Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). However, you may wish to contact the Philippine Obstetrical and Gynecological Society (POGS) at telephone number (632) 89212479; 89219420; 73415341; 89220195 or visit their website at https://www.pogsinc.org.

We would like to inform you that data collected by DOH are posted in the FHSIS annual reports and the Philippine Health Statistics posted in the DOH website at https://doh.gov.ph/publications/serials

Your right to request a review
