Greetings! My wife is a PWD (visual disability as stated in her ID). Kindly let us know the procedure on how she can get a PWD Philhealth membership. Also, does it require for the PWD to be an indigent in order to avail of the PWD Philhealth membership?  We have already inquired at the Philhealth Region 4A office but they were not able to provide the information we requested as, according to them, they still haven't received a memo regarding this.

You asked for Philhealth Membership for PWD.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. 

As we have stated on your previous FOI request, kindly coordinate with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) at the LGU where your wife is registered who will encode her data at the Philippine Registry for Persons with Disability (PRPWD) system

Her Philhealth membership for PWD will be based from the encoded data from the PRPWD system. Kindly coordinate with the MSWDO of the LGU for this request
