Dear Joanna Cabriles,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Sep 21, 2020 11:55:52 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your Request

You asked for Latest algorithm for COVID triage, diagnosis, and guidelines for COVID patient care.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. Attached is the data response from the Health Human Resource Development Bureau in relation to your eFOI request. We are likewise sending this data in your email.

The HRH to bed/patient ratio is a limitation in the HHRDB database, as we only gather data on HRH to population ratio.

HHRDB provides data on the current nurse to population ratio, which can be accessed through this link at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1H8CZKNI-swpxRJiZ52Zg4GHRLoBf3LmS/view

To clarify, HFDB has data on the ideal HRH to bed/patient ratio based from the Revised Standards on Organizational Structure and Staffing Pattern of Government Hospitals CY 2013 Edition, while HFSRB gathers data on the bed to population ratio.

According to HFSRB colleagues, they are still in the process of incorporating variables that will gather actual/current HRH to bed/patient ratio through their Online Licensing and Regulatory System (OLRS). Thus, we would also like to refer this FOI request to HFSRB for future availability of data on actual HRH to bed/patient ratios among the health facilities.

Your right to request a review

We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
