This is in relation to your FOI request dated 22 August 2022 requesting for a copy of the notarized affidavit of a certain Roden Bartolo in connection with a case he is allegedly involved. 
Please be informed that, the mandate of the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) is to “represent free of charge, indigents, and other persons qualified for legal assistance in all civil, criminal, labor, administrative and other quasi-judicial cases where, after due evaluation, it is determined that the interest of justice will be served thereby.” 
Accordingly, we wish to inform you that your request is hereto denied on the following grounds:
1.	Insufficient information;
2.	Copies of court records can only be requested before the courts having jurisdiction over the case.
