Greetings!
I would like to inquire if the approval of Dole Akap Financial Assistance for OFW is still on going? I have submitted my application on June 1, 2020 and have not received any feedback or updates. Tracking was not even possible as the provided link is not working at all.

I am one of those OFW who lost their job because of the above matter.

The intention of the inquiry is just to confirm if it was denied or approved but was not received.

Thank you for your request dated Mar 27, 2023 11:14:10 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch for an update of your DOLE-AKAP Application.

Ms. Malibiran be correctly informed that the DOLE-AKAP financial assistance is a program of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).  Hence, the status of your application or any matter related to DOLE-AKAP should be directed to the DOLE Regional or Provincial Office. 

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing the OWWA- FOI Decision Makers at email: foi_dm@owwa.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response and should be made within FIFTEEN (15) calendar days from the date you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within THIRTY (30) calendar days from the date we received your review request.

However, if you are still not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
