Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Feb 24, 2023 12:41:14 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch for a copy of employment contract  your employer ABDUL LATIF LAMEEL TOYOTA JEDDAH SAUDI ARABIA.

Magandang kabuhayan Kabayan.

Foremost, it is the right and obligation of any employee to have a copy of the employment contract/agreement.  Otherwise, this is a violation of the Labor laws in any country.

Hence, it is strongly advise that you initially get a copy from your employer through a letter (registered mail or email for as long as you have a documentary evidence that you are seeking a copy).

In the KSA the practice is if this is a renewal of contract, the employer will have to go to the Immigration and Labor Ministries for a renewal of your working visa and  then provide the POLO at the Phil. Embassy a renewal of such visa with an attachment of the previous contract.

Therefore, you can secure a copy of your employment contract from the POLO or the POEA if you have difficulty of getting a copy from your employer.
Be correctly informed that the POEA is mandated to process all overseas employment contract (OEC).

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing the OWWA- FOI Decision Makers at email: foi_dm@owwa.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response and should be made within FIFTEEN (15) calendar days from the date you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within THIRTY (30) calendar days from the date we received your review request.

However, if you are still not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
