Dear Viann Fornolles,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Sep 06, 2019 11:42:33 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your FOI request is approved. I enclose a copy of Handbook Workers' Statutory Monetary Benefits. RA 10966 declared August 21, 2019 as Special Day. Hence, it has a premium pay of only 30%. Please refer to page 16 to 18 of the handbook.

To deduce your daily rate, please be guided by this formula:
Daily Rate = Monthly salary x 12 /Estimated Equivalent Monthly Rate (EEMR)
Depending on your company policy, the EEMR varies as 365, 393.80, 313, and 261. The determination of the correct EEMR is crucial in arriving at the correct computation of your Daily rate. Your HR is in the position to declare your company’s EEMR.

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to <Secretary Silvestre H. Bello III>. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).

Thank you.

Respectfully,

Mark Valeros
FOI Receiving Officer
