To whom it may concern:

Good day! I would like to request for information regarding female researchers in the country (% of total headcount, full-time and part-time) for the year 2019.

Note that female researchers refer to female professionals engaged in the conception of new knowledge, products, processes, methods and systems, and management of these projects. It excludes technicians and equivalent staff, and other supporting staff. Headcount refers to the total number of persons who are mainly or partially employed in research.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have [some of]* the information you have requested and the DOST R&D Survey for 2019-2020 data is still ongoing. However, you may wish to contact Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) at (02) 8461-0500 , or resubmit your request addressed to the correct agency on the eFOI portal.
