Hi FNRI,

I would like to request an updated (and ideally, available online) version of the "The Philippine Food Composition Tables 1997". As per your website on www.fnri.dost.gov.ph, the said book is out-of-print. 

We the public would like to have access to its contents online so that there will be no need to request the physical book. The food nutritional information is something beneficial to be accessed online. In this regard, we hope to get an updated list and nutrition information as well.

Thank you for your request dated Apr 29, 2022 12:02:00 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for an online version of the Food composition table Philippines 2019.

We are happy to share with you the electronic version of the updated FCT using this link; https://i.fnri.dost.gov.ph/login/fct.  You can use this e-version in doing your report but this is not downloadable.  We are also happy  to inform you the availability of printed copies of the FCT books at the DOST-FNRI office in Bicutan. 

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Secretary Fortunato T. De La Peña. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
