August 11, 2021 Dear Ms. Real, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Aug 04, 2021 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for Copies of Philippine Government Contracts with China. Response to your request While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, we regret to inform you that this Office does not have the information you are requesting. The GPPB-TSO does not have in its possession copies of said contracts as the ones keeping copies of government contracts are the agencies involved on said undertaking. However, you may wish to contact the Department of Energy or the Philippine National Oil Company if they are the agencies involved for the oil and resources development at the West Philippine Sea, and the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage Systems and the National Irrigation Authority for the Kaliwa Dam and Chico River Pump Irrigation Project, respectively. You may also resubmit your request to the eFOI portal of said government agencies. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to GPPB-TSO FOI Decision Maker at foi-dm@gppb.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request. If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011). Thank you.
