Good morning. My mother is processing the transfer of ownership of her purchased land from Anthony Jaranilla (deceased). She was advised by the Registry of Deeds in Kidapawan City to request from your office a copy of the Cancellation of Mortgage for her to complete the requirements she has for the processing of transfer of ownership of the said property. Hence, this message. An email was also directly sent to the PDIC and was acknowledged by your office. We would appreciate receiving a copy of the document as soon as possible. Thank you.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, your request for cancellation is not covered by the PDIC FOI Manual. Rather, it is a regular service that PDIC provides to clients of banks closed by the Monetary Board of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. However, as you have mentioned, we confirm that you have submitted a similar request directly to our official email address. As mentioned in our Public Assistance Department's (PAD) last email conversation with you, your request has already been endorsed to the concerned unit. Nonetheless, we shall relay to the concerned unit the request you have made thru this portal.
