Dear Ms. Nichole Cristobal,

Greetings!

This refers to your request dated Oct 02, 2021 08:50:46 AM under Executive Order No. 2, s. 2016 on Freedom of Information (FOI) in the Executive Branch regarding the result of the National Survey on Mental Health and Well-being.

As one of the sectoral council of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), the Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PCHRD) provides research and development funding for research institutions in the Philippines that are aligned with the National Unified Health Research Agenda and Harmonized National Research and Development Agenda. 

The DOST-PCHRD funded project that you are requesting for data is currently ongoing and the project team is still conducting their field operations in 7 regions. Also, based on the project’s timelines, the earliest that the project leader can provide results will be in December. Hence, we regret that we cannot provide your requested information at the moment.

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to our Executive Director, Dr. Jaime C. Montoya, at jcmontoya@pchrd.dost.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22, s. 2011.
