Hi I would like to request information on Digital/Smart Farming programs/project being implemented or about to implement in production, processing and marketing of vegetables. Also Existing or available Smart phone Applications related to vegetable production, processing and marketing.

You asked for List of Digital/Smart Farming programs/projects.

Response to Request

There is a recently completed program titled "Smart Plant Production in Controlled Environments (SPICE)" which was implemented in both UPD and UPLB. Information on smart farms esp the phone application used can be directly coordinated with the team's program leader, Dr. Carl Michael F. Odulio (UP-EEEI) for electronics - codulio@gmail.com, and project leader, Dr. Jessica D. Rey (UP-IB) for various crops - jdrey@up.edu.ph.

Attached is the Executive Brief of the SPICE Program as reference.
