Purpose: Probe on Pending Sale of NAFCO Lands and Controlled Plantations
Date of Coverage: 01/01/2005 - 06/06/2022
Tracking no: #OSG-327291912367
Dear Sir/Madam, We'd like to ask all the released Guidelines and Policies. The Board Of Liquidators (BOL) haulted all the transactions when it was starting to merged with, or absorbed, by Privatization and Management Office (PMO). Thus, pausing payment installments too on NAFCO Lands and Controlled Plantations WITHOUT the new Guidelines and Policies, in Davao city. Up to this date, June 2022, still no new Guidelines and Policies, according to PMO. The crafting of the new Guidelines and Policies might have been too long. It's been more than a decade now. Hence, the purpose of this probe.

Good Day! We are NOT referring to any 'case' in particular. What we would like to ask, IN GENERAL, are all released Guidelines and Policies, old and new, regarding the Sale of NAFCO Lands and Controlled Plantations, in Davao City, throughout the time period indicated in the request. As context, all the transactions (such as payment installments) of NAFCO Lands and Controlled Plantations, were halted/paused by BOL/PMO for a very long time, because these agencies/offices always said, over the years, that there are no "Guidelines and Policies" yet. They said the Office of the Solicitor General would be the ones who will craft the Guidelines and Policies regarding on the 'sale of the said lands', and have not yet released the newest version of it. This instance has led many 'applied lots' into pending, all those years and as of date. Those lands/lots are susceptible to land-grabbing due to being not warded yet. Hope your office may help us look into this. Thank you.
