July 1, 2020 Dear Nikki Aida, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Jul 01, 2020 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. You requested for the data on Montreal Cognitive Assessment results per region. The Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PCHRD) is one of the sectoral funding agencies of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) that provides R&D funding for research institutions in the Philippines. PCHRD funds research proposals that are aligned with the National Unified Health Research Agenda (NUHRA) and Harmonized National R&D Agenda (HRNDA). While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested. Researchers at the St Luke’s Medical Center (SLMC) adapted the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), an assessment tool for diagnosing mild cognitive impairment and early Alzheimer's disease, for Filipino patients. This was supported by the Philippine Council for Health Research and Development. We have sent the copy of the published result on your registered email ([email protected]).
