Title of the Capstone Project:
A Proposed Aviation Academy-Technical University in Navotas Coastal Bay Reclamation Project
Abstract:
The Philippines' aviation industry is still recovering, with the local and regional carriers attempting to increase their fleets, offering additional job prospects for pilots and other airline-related jobs. Aviation Schools or Universities are the currently trending industry in the Philippines. Due to the reasonably priced yet high-quality aviation programs, the Philippines is the preferred venue to continue their dreams as a Pilot. Furthermore, because of the Philippines’ strategic location in the Asia Pacific region, the country serves as an international air travel excellence hub. One advantage is the country's different types of terrain, including coastal regions and mountainous areas. According to Captain Jose Benedict Lopena, Pilot Academy's Head of Training in WCC, most airlines' first concern is to hire more Filipinos as flight crew leaders, and the demands for Filipino pilots are likely to surge since the Philippines has the oldest chronology among any Asian country. However, despite these advantages of pursuing pilot training here in the country, there are several disadvantages and problems. According to Hamilton, Allen L., a researcher of Aviation Accreditation Board International accreditation standards (2008), “aviation curricula in the Philippines lacked an integrated approach. There were no experimental, innovative, or distance learning experiences or courses accessible in the curricula”.
Reason for Requesting Documents:
I want to request some documents to support my capstone proposal. My main objective is to design the future Aviation Academy-Technical University in said reclamation project.
