My name is Joffrey Urian, a third-year law student from the University of the East Manila. I’m currently taking my thesis for my Juris Doctor Degree with the title "Creating a Low-Income Tax Clinic (Under the Public Attorney's Office)". In connection with this, I would like to request information regarding the following:

1.	Research conducted which is related to Free-Tax Legal Assistance in the Philippines.
2.	Research related to Low-Income taxpayer clinic in the Philippines. 
3. Research related to the Public Attorney's Office handling tax cases.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested.  Unfortunately, the PAO has no data on research related to free-tax legal assistance or low income taxpayer clinic.  Further, the PAO does not keep data on tax cases in particular. 
Our current case monitoring system only keeps track of criminal, civil, 
 preliminary investigation, labor, and other administrative cases.

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to the Honorable Chief Public Attorney Dr. Persida V.
