I would like to appeal  my EC claims at SSS. I and my whole family was positive in Covid 19 last October 2021. My mother and i was Confined at the Hospital ( NVPH) in Bambang Nueva Vizcaya last October 18-29,2021. and home quarantine October 30-Nov 5,2021.May i know if COVID 19 is not listed as Occupational disease.  As per checking it was approved in BOARD RESOLUTION NO. 21-04-14. For your kind and assistance please. SNEW9812022072629011

    -The Employees' Compensation Program (ECP) aims to provide disability or death benefits due to work-connected sickness or injury; 

    -ECP covers all civilian employees in the government with GSIS coverage including uniformed personnel and all compulsory members of the SSS;

    -SSS serves as implementing agency of ECP in the private sector whereas GSIS implements the ECP in the public sector; the Employees' Compensation Commission (ECC) serves as appeal and policy-making body of the ECP; as implementing agency in the private sector, the evaluation of EC claims resides in the SSS; 

    -EC benefits are distinct and separate from SSS and GSIS benefits; 

    -EC cash assistance serves as accessory benefits to EC disability or death benefits due to work-connected covid19;
