Dear Sir/Ma'am, 
  I would like to request for a copy of the birth certificate of Jose Wright Diokno, born in Manila on February 26, 1922. His parents were Ramón Marasigan Diokno and Leonor May Garcia Wright Diokno. I am requesting this for research purposes on Filipino figures, as any detailed data on his birth is unavailable to the public, unlike that of other contemporary figures, as well as older personalities such as Jose Rizal and Apolinario Mabini. I look forward to hearing a favorable response. Thank you.

Dear Sir/Ma'am,
  This request was made in order to verify the circumstances of Sen. Diokno's birth, as his baptismal certificate has been made available by Ms. Cookie Diokno on February 26, 2022, however the information surrounding his birthplace and factual details have yet to be shown. Please let me know what other documents or steps I must do in order to smoothen the processing of this application further. Thank you.

The only information that the family has discovered based on the Pamana book by Ms. Cookie Diokno was that Diokno was baptized at Ermita on September 3, 1922, as shown in his baptismal certificate, together with his padrino/padrina. There was also mention of his childhood home at 48 Alhambra St., Ermita, Manila. However the exact hospital of his birth may have been lost, which was why it was not revealed in his biography or in any extant text. This issue is recurring for many known historical figures, which is the basis for this request. 
There are also Supreme Court records of another property owned by the family around the same time in 1925 at 8 Calle Real of M.H. Del Pilar, Ermita, Manila (G.R. No. 24433). This is a large section of what can be made known in public documents, but lack the crucial information of his birthplace in Manila.
