Hi! I would like to request information regarding:

1) The number of established congressional, municipal, and city libraries

2) The number of established barangay reading centers

3) Funding for libraries and reading centers according to the General Appropriations Act

You asked for The number of established local public libraries and barangay reading centers.

Response to your request

We were able to determine that this particular information is already available online and therefore cannot be counted as a valid FOI request.  You may retrieve your requested information from the National Library of the Philippines (NLP) official website (http://web.nlp.gov.ph/nlp/) or you may click the link http://web.nlp.gov.ph/nlp/?q=node/10266, which provides the statistical number of affiliated public libraries with the National Library of the Philippines.  

Your right to request a review
