You asked for Out of School Children and Youth in the Philippines.

Response to Request

Below is the email we sent to you on Oct. 11, 2022:

Dear Mr. Cambio:

Greetings!

This is in reference to your request in the electronic Freedom of Information (eFOI) portal last October 10, 2022 for the raw datasets of the following:
Results from the Annual 2010-2020 Poverty Indicators Survey (APIS); and
Results from the 2010-2020 Functional Literacy, Education and Mass Media Survey (FLEMMS).
Unfortunately, we regret to inform you that these data are not available with the National Youth Commission. We recommend for this request to be directed to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) as they hold the mandate and capacity to conduct the APIS and FLEMMS.

The Commission has limited administrative data, however, the NYC releases an Annual Youth Statistics Update which you may access through this link (https://bit.ly/2021_YouthStat). It contains youth-related data sourced from different NYC partner agencies, such as DepEd and PSA. Should you have any questions or concerns, you may reach Ms. Joyce Ebora through email at pmed@nyc.gov.ph.

Thank you.

Respectfully,

PMED Chief Jenivie Anne R. Ramirez-Salmo
