Hi I am a student who is currently taking up my thesis in my master's degree. I would like to request the latest number of cases of annulment/nullity as of 2022 filed in the OSG and how many of them are grounded on the lack of parental consent as to those parties between 18 and 21.

Your Request

You asked for number of annulment and nullity cases as of 2022.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. Attached is the copy of  the information you requested. With regards to your request about cases that lack parental consent, we could not give those figures to you since we do not have such feature in our database (eCMT), that will be able to get said specific cases in the system per our Case Management Service (CMS).

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Office of the Solicitor General 134 Amorsolo St., Legazpi Village, Makati City. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
