Thank you for your request dated Jun 28, 2019 03:02:21 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.
To answer your question, there is currently one Infantry Brigade (103rd Infantry Brigade) of approximately 500 soldiers tasked in maintaining peace and security in Marawi City. As to the checkpoint, there are more or less 4 in place in the city.
