Dear Sir/Madam,

Hope you are doing well.

I am writing in through this website to request and hopefully receive a copy of my BIR 2316 form for this year 2023, as it is one of the requirements for my current work application. I lost contact with my previous employer which is Techlog Center Philippines.

It would be very much appreciated if you can send me a copy via email as my employment is on the line — I have to submit this by next on or before October 9, 2023. You can reach me via email, my email is prncsdell99@gmail.com

I hope to hear from you soon.

Thank you.

Dear Ms. Seño:

Thank you for your request dated Sep 22, 2023 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your request

You asked for BIR 2316 Form.

Response to your request

In reply, please be informed that the BIR Form No. 2316 for Calendar Year 2023 has not yet been submitted by your Employer in the Revenue District Office (RDO) because the taxable period has not yet elapsed/finished.

The RDO gets a hold of the said BIR Form 2316 upon submission of your employer on or before February 28 (per RR 2-2015 as amended by RR 16-2021) of the following year or in your case on or before February 28, 2024.

However, you may wish to contact/coordinate with your employer in case your employment with them has been terminated/ended per Section 6 of Revenue Regulations (RR) No. 10-2008 provides that it is the responsibility of the EMPLOYER to furnish the employee his/her BIR Form 2316 on or before January 31 of the succeeding calendar year, or if the employment is terminated before the close of such calendar year, on the day of which the last payment of compensation is made.

Thank you.

Respectfully yours,

FOI Receiving Officer
