March 8, 2021 Dear Maria Shereene, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Mar 06, 2021 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for clearance for court case. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, the CIC only receives, maintains, and provides raw credit data in the form of a credit report. It does not release any form of clearance from court cases. Meanwhile, individual borrowers like you may obtain a copy of your CIC Credit Report in order for you to check, monitor, verify, or correct any inaccuracy should there be any. We are pleased to inform you that one of our accredited credit bureaus, CIBI Information Inc., recently launched the CIBIApp where you may get a copy of your credit report and credit score online. For mobile phone users, just download the CIBIApp via the Google Play Store. For desktop users, you may access the app via your web browser at https://cibiapp.cibi.com.ph/#/login. You should be able to access these apps if you are located in the Philippines. Register by entering your personal and contact information and creating a username with password. You would also be asked to upload the following: 1. One primary ID (SSS, GSIS, TIN, UMID, and driver’s license) 2. One secondary ID (Passport, PRC ID, IBP ID, OWWA ID, senior citizen’s ID, voter’s ID, digitized postal ID, SSS ID, and GSIS e-Card) Finally, you may schedule an appointment for online character verification via video call from Mondays to Fridays, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. CIBI will send you a confirmation email, together with guidelines for the character verification process. You may also view the steps here: https://www.creditinfo.gov.ph/get-your-credit-report Once you have a copy of your CIC Credit Report and find inaccuracies or discrepancies, you may file a dispute through our Online Dispute Resolution Process (ODRP): https://www.creditinfo.gov.ph/online-dispute-resolution-process-0 We hope this helps. We likewise encourage you to visit our website (https://www.creditinfo.gov.ph/) and follow us on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/creditinfo.gov.ph/) for updates. For further assistance you may review the FAQ section of the eFOI site: https://www.foi.gov.ph/help. Thank you. Respectfully, CIC FOI Officer
