Your request
 
You requested information on the updated or latest number of orphans aged 13-17 in orphanages within Metro Manila for class purposes.
 
 
Response to your request
 
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested because the Council for the Welfare of Children (CWC) is not a direct implementing organization.
 
The CWC is the focal inter-agency body of the Philippine Government for Children.  It is mandated to coordinate the implementation and enforcement of all laws; formulate, monitor and evaluate policies, programs and measures for children. 
 
However, you may wish to contact the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).  Please send your request directly to MS. MYRNA REYES, FOI Receiving Officer and Head of Records and Archives Management Division who may be able to help you at records@dswd.gov.ph.  
 
 
Your right to request a review
