Good day!

Is Productivity Enhancement Incentive (PEI) as stipulated in DBM Budget Circular No. 2016-8 (which is to be given not before December 15, 2016 to qualified government employees) the same as Christmas bonus/Cash Incentive for Outstanding Performance of a particular government agency?

Dear Ms. Sarito, 

With regard to your inquiry, agencies which achieve their CY 2015 performance targets and satisfy 100% of the Good Governance Conditions may   grant Performance Based Bonus (PBB) to its personnel as provided under the Inter-Agency Task Force on the Harmonization of National Government Performance Monitoring, Information and Reporting Systems Memorandum Circular No. 2015-1. There is no legal basis for the grant of additional bonus/cash incentive in recognition of the outstanding performance of a particular agency.
