Request for monthly data of deaths

Requested from DOH by H. Pantolla at 12:44 AM on Jun 25, 2022.
Purpose: Dissertation
Date of Coverage: 01/01/2018 - 12/31/2021
Tracking no: #DOH-452709297298

Pantolla 12:44 AM, Jun 25, 2022

Good day, DOH.

I would like to request the data of the distribution per month of mortalities by provinces and highly urbanized cities (HUC) of the whole country for the following causes:

1. Malnutrition (undernutrition)
2. Diseases of the heart
3. Liver disease
4. Respiratory diseases

These are actually the same with some parts of the 2019 Philippine Health Statistics. I am hoping that the breakdown per month from 2018 to 2021 by province/HUC are open for public use. Thank you, DOH. Proper citations will be added in the outputs.

Thank you for the data. These are exactly what I need. I would just like to ask for some clarifications.

1. Does it mean that those municipalities with no data have missing/uncollected or considered as zeros?
2. Are these per 100,000 or actual counts.

Thank you very much, eFOI and DOH Team.
