1. Available basic medical equipment in public hospitals
    Please include:
    a. The type of equipment
    b. Number of available equipment per hospital
    c. Year in which the equipment were acquired

I refer to my letter of May 23, 2022 03:01:32 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Available basic medical equipment in public hospitals.

In order for us to work further on your request, we need more information from you regarding your query. 

Please be advised that we could only provide data from the DOH Hospitals only, as the LGU hospitals are not in our jurisdiction. The list of DOH Hospitals are posted in the DOH website at https://doh.gov.ph/doh-hospitals-directory
Also, are you requiring data for all types of medical equipment? 

May we know what your research is about for us to have a clear picture on the data that you need and assist you on the request?

Dear Maricar,

I refer to my letter of May 25, 2022 about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Available basic medical equipment in public hospitals. In particular, I had requested specific information for you to clarify upon in order for us to proceed with the request.

As we have not received a reply within the 60-day working period since the letter requesting for clarification was sent out, we regret to inform you that this request will be closed as of Aug 17, 2022.

You may wish to submit a new request describing the specific information you are looking for, and we will be able to consider it under the guidelines as stated in Executive Order No. 2.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to or visiting our central office. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
