Good day!
In the past, the DOH referred for every decision to WHO and even did not acknowledge the lifting of the state of emergency by President Marcos since WHO did not announce the end of the pandemic.
The WHO recently changed its guidelines regarding vaccination against covid for children and healthy young adults.
Are you going to follow these guidelines and when. If not, why not?

Please be informed that the policies on COVID-19 Vaccination are formulated based on the recommendation of independent bodies of experts on COVID-19 such as the National Immunization Technical Advisory Group (NITAG) on Immunization, Technical Advisory Group (TAG). Further, Health experts from the Vaccine Expert Panel, Single Joint Review Ethics Board, Health Technology Assessment Council, and Philippine Food and Drug Administration evaluate all available COVID-19 vaccine candidates in the country to provide recommendations on safe and effective vaccination appropriate for each specific eligible population. Rest assured that policies and guidelines will be updated once new evidence comes in.
